The Wesley Community Center's Christmas Toy Project is still accepting donations

The Wesley Community Center's Christmas Toy Project is still accepting donations of new and gently used toys.

Toys are collected from both private donations and from other agencies.

"We have about a few different agencies that do help us. Toys for tots, also the christmas coalition project who help non profit organizations like ourselves. They help us get the gifts and we also receive gifts from private donors as well," said Adam Campos with the Wesley Community Center.

The toys are distributed to families with children between the ages of zero and twelve that have submitted applications.

The Christmas Toy Project is helping 200 children from 60 families this year.

The toys will be distributed December 18-20.

New and gently used items can be dropped off at 1615 South Roberts Street.
