The Waiting Child: Keenan

The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization is still in need of volunteers. They have several littles waiting on a list to be matched. For years the organization has been matching mentors with Panhandle kids. Pronews 7 is introducing you to Keenan who's been waiting to be matched for almost two years. He's been waiting for a big brother like you to step forward.

10-year old Keenan is going into the fifth grade. He has a twin brother. While he says he enjoys hanging out with his brother, he's wanting someone new to hang out with.

"It kind of gets old having to see the same person all the time like everyday," said Keenan.

Keenan says he enjoys playing Lego games, playing basketball and football. His favorite basketball team would be the Miami Heat. That's because they spent their summer at a hotel in San Antonio during the NBA Finals, the same hotel the team was at. So he says he got to swim with Ray Allen and other players with their families. An experience that will last a lifetime.

"I walked down the hall with Dwayne Wade." So he's looking for a big brother he can share that story with and other fun activities.

"Go to the movies play video games just hang out." 6:43:15"What are you looking for in a big brother? Someone who likes to hang out and chill and someone that's really active too."
