$2.8 million of meth seized, Las Vegas man arrested during I-40 traffic stop

Carson County, Texas (KVII) —
The Texas Department of Public Saftey (DPS) seized 33 pounds of methamphetamine after a Trooper stopped a vehicle in Carson County.
On Oct. 5 at 2 p.m., a DPS Trooper stopped a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado for a traffic violation.
According to the DPS, a Patrol Trooper discovered multiple plastic-wrapped bundles of methamphetamine inside a spare tire.
The driver, 38-year-old Roberto Inguez Gullen from Las Vegas, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The methamphetamine was allegedly being transported from Las Vegas to Oklahoma City and is approximately worth $2.8 million, according to DPS.
