The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce will hold the Chamber Poker Classic Tournament 3 p.m. Saturday at the Clovis Civic Center. There is a $50 buy-in, due at the time of registration, for the Texas Hold 'Em tournament, with a $40 rebuy. First place includes a trip for two to Las Vegas with airfare included. Second place is a trip for two to Inn of the Mountain Gods. Third place is a set of poker chips. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Clovis Music Festival. Registration is available to the first 300 participants either at the door starting 2 p.m. Saturday or in advance during the week through the chamber (105 E. Grand Ave., 763-3435). Amarillo Symphony Pictures in Music: Performing arts center show starts at 8:00 p.m.



Find antiques and bling at the Junk Hippy Show 9:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the North Exhibit Hall at the Amarillo Civic Center. Tickets are $5 at the door.



Girl Power: For all of you moms, grandmothers, aunts and friends with preteen girls in 4th-6th grade, GiRL Power is coming to Amarillo on Saturday, November 23! It's a fantastic event for tween girls and the important women in their lives and will focus on important issues like self-esteem, fitness, Internet safety, bullying, healthy relationships and living a healthy lifestyle.
