Thanksgiving help

Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away and one organization is asking for your help to make sure no one goes hungry this year.

Faith City Ministries will serve more than 17-thousand meals this Thanksgiving season, and with the increase in food prices and homeless families, they are asking for whatever help anyone has to offer.

"Any kind of donation at Christmas and Thanksgiving is helpful. A lot of people bring us turkeys and that's always a blessing -- chicken, turkey, cows -- we don't care, just any kind of food donation is wonderful," said Jena Taylor, Faith City Ministries Executive Director.

Taylor also says there are a couple of projects they could use some help on like linoleum tiles to pad their concrete shelter floors, and rubber mulch to make their children's playground safer.
