Tejano Talk will honor Hispanic veterans

The Panhandle Tejano Democrats will be hosting a Tejano Talk, an event honoring our local Hispanic veterans.

These veterans have served in World War II, Vietnam, and Iraq.

The event will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. tonight, April 22, at the Alamo Community Center, 1502 Cleveland Street.

The purpose of the organization is to seek full representations of Hispanics at all levels of the Democratic Party, and in all activities including candidate selection and endorsement, taking appropriate public stands on issues affecting the local community, and proposing, supporting, or opposing legislation relevant to the community.
