Teen charged after three Dripping Springs HS students reportedly overdose on LSD

A Dripping Springs teenager is facing a felony charge after three high school students overdosed on LSD.

According to the Hays County Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Alyssa Qualls is charged with delivery of a controlled substance to a child, a second-degree felony, and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (penalty group 1A), a state jail felony.

The sheriff's office says that in the past week they've responded to three separate drug over dose calls involving Dripping Springs High School students that had ingested the hallucinogenic drug LSD.

Qualls has been booked into the Hays County Jail. Further details were not immediately available.
