On September 3rd around 6:00 a.m., officers were sent to a reported robbery at a CEFCO convenience store located at 5000 IH-40 East.

According to the APD police report, a female employee told officers she was seated inside the store when the suspect came in armed with a silver handgun and started demanding money.

The female employee then handed the suspect the money out of the register and he then left the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male 30 to 40 years of age, wearing a flat brim cowboy hat, brown jacket, and black pants.

At this time no arrest has been made, and the APD Robbery Squad detectives are assisting in the investigation.
