RADAR UPDATE: Showers and storms continue to develop across the High Plains with the heaviest concentration in the SE TX Panhandle and NE New Mexico. Movement is east-southeast at 15-20 mph.
The greatest threat for severe weather is with the cluster of storms in the SE TX Panhandle where hail could reach the size of quarters and wind gusts could be near 60 mph.
All storms are capable of cloud-to-ground lightning and a brief, heavy downpours.
