Stabbing reported in Gray County
PAMPA, Texas (KVII) —
UPDATE at 9:29 a.m.: A man is being sought in a stabbing that occurred at 5:13 a.m. at the Allsup's store in the 1000 block of West Wilks, according to a release from the city of Pampa.
According to the release:
- The suspect entered the store at 1025 W. Wilks, and stabbed the clerk repeatedly and then fled the scene.
- Attempts were made at taking money, but the suspect was unable to get access to the registers.
- The victim, a 37-year-old man, was transported by EMS to Pampa Regional Medical Center, then flown to Amarillo for treatment.
- Pampa police investigators are working the case and following up on leads.
