Shots fired at Midnight Rodeo

Shots broke out early this morning at one of Amarillo's most popular night spots.

Amarillo Police say a fight broke out at about 2:00 early Friday morning at Midnight Rodeo just as the club was closing. According to police, officers started to break up the fight when officers heard several gunshots and saw the driver of a silver 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer shooting a pistol in the air.

After not complying with commands to stop, the suspect then led officers on a short vehicle pursuit in a nearby neighborhood. During the pursuit, the gun was thrown from the vehicle but was later found.

Hector Patricio Galvan, Jr., 31, was arrested for Deadly Conduct, Evading Arrest or Detention in a Motor Vehicle and Tampering with Evidence.

Brandy Luther, 31, was arrested for Prohibited Weapons- illegal knife and a liquor law violation. Additionally, a 20-year-old male was arrested for liquor law violations and warrants.

No one was hurt from the gunshots.
