The Roman Catholic Diocese of Amarillo hosted their first ever Diocesan Junior Rally Saturday dedicated specifically for middle schoolers throughout the Panhandle.
Hundreds of middle school youth made their way to the Amarillo Civic Center for the rally. Every year the youth rally includes both high school and middle school students. This year, the Roman Catholic Diocese decided to separate the two groups to focus on specific age groups.
Youth Director, Oscar Guzman said that he hopes the children leave knowing who they are as children of God. â??That's the most important thing for them to know who they are that they are special.â??
Faith was the theme of this yearâ??s rally and the organization worked to strength the studentsâ?? faith.
