Mon, 23 Sep 2013 14:57:19 GMT — Randall County Sheriff Joel Richardson has been reappointed to the state Commission on Law Enforcement.Governor Rick Perry appointed Richardson, who is currently heading the Commission up.There are nine members and Richardson has been part of it six years.The commission sets requirements for candidates to be members of law enforcement and allows them to remain so.He says things have changed since he was first involved."When I first started on the commission the discipline wasnâ??t heavy on law enforcement officers that had engaged in misconduct, particularly, DWIs. I have seen the discipline get heavier sine the six years Iâ??ve been here."He says itâ??s an honor to be reappointed.
