PPD: Armed robbery suspect arrested in Amarillo

According to Pampa Police Department one person was arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Pampa business. The suspect's identity has not been released at this time pending arraignment.

Monday PPD responded to an armed robbery in the 600 block west Foster.

According to PPD, the clerk informed them that a man entered the store, produced a weapon and demanded money. The clerk gave the man the money and he fled from the scene. An unknown amount of money was taken. No was injured during the robbery. At this time PPD is still searching for the suspect.

The suspect was located in Amarillo at a slot amusement business and arrested by Amarillo Police Department officers for aggravated robbery and booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
