Police search for suspect near Bell and Belpree

Update 3:15 p.m. According to Sgt, Brent Barbee, Buddy Loden is the suspect authorities were looking for. He appears to be wanted out of Potter County on an original charge that stems from March 2009 of a sexual assault on a child.

Update 2:35 p.m. Police say no suspect was found in area of the 6000 block of Hanson. There is no indication he remained near the area,

Officers searching the area of 6000 block of Hanson did not locate the wanted suspect and there is no reason to believe that he remained in the area after the police were called or posed an immediate threat.

Update 12:05 p.m. Officers near the 6000 block of Hanson are seeking a subject wanted for probation violation. Police say he may be on foot in area.

There are currently several officers in the area of the 6000 block of Hanson looking for Buddy Ray Loden,18, wanted on a probation violation warrant. His original charge was sexual assault of a child.

Loden fled from a home in the area when officers responded to a disturbance call there.

Loden is described as 5ft.7, 120 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a purple/blue plaid or checkered long sleeve shirt and jeans. He is believed to be on foot in the area. If you see someone matching this description in the area, please call 911.

Initial reports are that some sort of fight occurred, and one of the people involved in it ran from police, and that person may have a warrant.
