Police on the hunt for armed robbery suspect

A man wearing a black jacket and paintball protective mask weilding a large knife robbed the Toot'n Totum store at 4600 Washington in Amarillo.

Just after 4 a.m. On Friday, Amarillo police officers responded to Toot'n Totum store at 4600 S. Washington on a reported robbery.

The male suspect walked into the store, displayed a large knife and demanded and subsequently took the money from the store's cash drawer. The suspect then then left eastbound on 46th Avenue on foot.

He was described as a white male in his 20s about 5'6" with a medium build and short blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and a paintball protective mask.

There have been no arrests and injuries were reported in this incident.
