75-year-old woman with Alzheimer's missing in Amarillo has been found

UPDATE| The missing woman was found after 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the 1000- block of N.E. 3rd Avenue. She has been reunited with her family.

ORIGINAL STORY| Amarillo police are asking for the public's help in locating a 75-year-old woman who went missing in Amarillo last night.

According to police, Jessie Elaine Scott was last seen in the 2000- block of Paramount sometime Tuesday night. She does have Alzheimer's, police said, and was traveling through Amarillo with family. She goes by both Jessie and Elaine.

Police said Scott was last seen wearing a green short sleeved polo-style shirt, gray jeans and gray sneakers with a green stripe. She is about 5'3" tall and weighs 135 pounds, according to APD. She has white shoulder-length hair and was wearing glasses when she was last seen.

APD said Scott has no ties to Amarillo and she has a tendency to migrate toward banks.
