Police investigate early morning robbery of convenience store

At 2:50 a.m. on March 17th, the CEFCO convenience store located at 1917 Bell St. was robbed by a suspect described as a thin male of approximately 6' of unknown ethnicity. He approached the clerk from behind and poked him with an unidentified hard object in a covered bag. An undetermined amount of cash was handed over during the robbery.

The suspect had a mask over his face and socks on his hands, and was also wearing a long parka type coat with light colored fur along the edges of the hood, The actual presense of a weapon has not positively identified. While no one was injured during the incident, the authorities continue investigating this robbery.
