Pizza delivery driver robbed at gun point; pizza, money stolen
AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) —
The Amarillo Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver that happened in the 2600 block of Brook Avenue last night.
According to authorities, at about 11:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Brook Ave. on an armed robbery that had just happened. A pizza delivery driver stated that two suspects came up to him while he was attempting to deliver a pizza and robbed him at gun point.
The suspects were described as Hispanic males between the ages of 15 and 17. One suspect was said to be about 5-foot-11 tall, 150 pounds, wearing no shirt and displaying a pistol. The second suspect was about 5-foot, 140 pounds, wearing a black shirt.
Both suspects left the scene on foot towards Amarillo Boulevard.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and the pizzas from the driver. No arrests have been made at this time.
