Perryton ISD hires interim superintendent
Perryton ISD's board of trustees met Tuesday night in a special meeting and voted unanimously to hire Robin Fulce as interim superintendent.
The hire comes after a sexual harassment complaint was made against the superintendent and assistant superintendent of Perryton ISD in October. Both administrators later resigned.
The district said Fulce had 26 years of education experience prior to his retirement last year. He most recently served as the high school principal at Panhandle ISD after having served as superintendent there for two years.
He will begin his duties with Perryton ISD on December 1.
Ronnie Watson will continue as acting superintendent until then.
Fulce is a 1985 Graduate of West Texas State University. He earned his Master’s Degree at Sul Ross State University and received his Superintendent Certification from The University of Texas Permian Basin.
