Potter County Sheriff's Office is searching for information regarding two reported burglaries Wednesday in Bushland.
According to PCSO, dispatch received a report of an intrusion Wednesday at 12:58 p.m. at a residence in the Prairie West addition of Bushland. When patrol units arrived at the residence they found a damaged exterior door and evidence of forced entry. As deputies were investigating, a second alarm at another residence a mile away was received.
Patrol units responded to the residence and spoke with the homeowner who was present when deputies arrived. According to PCSO, the homeowner reported she observed an unfamiliar vehicle at her house when she arrived home and found evidence of forced entry into the residence along with a damage exterior door.
The homeowner told deputies the suspect vehicle was a silver 2 or 4 door mid-size car, that the suspect is believed to be a white male and that property was missing from her house.
