If you have an unpaid ticket in Pampa, you might want to take care of it. In the next couple of months the Pampa Police Department will be hitting the streets to collect almost one million dollars in unpaid fines.
Sgt. Colby Brown tells Pronews 7 that people still have a chance to pay these fines before more drastic measures are taken. Starting in January, the Pampa News will publish the names of residents with outstanding warrants the police department hopes this will get people to pay the fines so their name isn't in the paper. Starting in February, the police department will pay officers overtime to hit the streets and serve warrants.
