Pampa police search for hit and run suspect

Jesus Barrueta-Dominguez is wanted by Pampa Police for failure to stop and render aid/ serious bodily injury.

Pampa Police Department Officers are searching for a man they say left the scene of a major wreck at the intersection of Cuyler and Brown in Pampa.

According to police, a green Chevy Lumina driven by 29-year-old Armando Acosta was stopped at a red light when his vehicle was struck from behind by a Maroon Chevy Silverado last night around 8:15 p.m. Police determined the driver of the Silverado was 35-year-old Jesus Barrueta-Dominguez. Police say that Barrueta-Dominguez fled the scene before officers arrived and is still considered at large. An arrest warrant has been issued for his arrest for failure to stop and render aid/ serious bodily injury.

Three people were taken to the hospital including two children. One of the children was transported via LifeStar to North West Texas Hospital in critical condition. The child is still in critical condition as of this morning.
