      Pampa Police investigate small business burglaries

      Pampa Police Department officers are investigating two small business robberies in Pampa.

      According to the PPD, officers have received reports of two burglaries during the nighttime and early morning hours. PPD said at some point on Monday November 25th, 2013 World Finance was burglarized. Cash and electronic items were stolen PPD said.

      The second burglary occurred at 6:20 a.m Wednesday November 27, 2013 at Hastings at 1205 north Hobart street. When officers arrived at the scene the found that a portion of the exterior door had been removed and various electronics had been reported missing.

      Pampa Police are also warning residents that typically during the holiday season, the number of burglaries and robberies tend to increase. PPD has offered these tips to prevent these crimes.

      Keep an eye on your property and be watchful of your neighbors property and local businesses. Be sure to lock doors and leave lights on. And report any suspicious activity to police.
