OSBI search for Cimarron County murder suspect

UPDATE: The OSBI has released these sketches of people who were in the area at the time of the shooting that could provide information to this investigation.

The first sketch is a hispanic male, 30 years of age with medium length hair. This person is approximately 5'10" and weighs 165 pounds. He was traveling in a black 1998- 2003 GMC or Chevy extended cab pickup with aluminum wheels and large tires. The second sketch is a 30-year-old hispanic male who is approximately between 5'6" and 5'8" tall.

The OSBI is searching for the suspect who shot 71-year-old Charles Nieman outside a Boise City convenience store.

Nieman was shot after he got out of his truck, his wife was still in the vehicle at the time of the incident. Nieman was transported to the Cimarron Memorial Hospital in Boise City where he later died from his injuries.

The suspect is described as a hispanic male in his late 20s to 30s with a medium build. He was seen leaving the scene on foot and the suspect was wearing khaki shorts and a dark colored T-shirt. Investigators are also looking for information regarding a late 1990s to 2000s Chevy pickup truck. Witnesses describe the vehicle as dark colored with three doors.
