Fri, 11 Oct 2013 15:46:26 GMT — The Amarillo Area Foundation wants to try to clarify the Affordable Health Care Act for local health providers.Thursday about 400 folks showed up for the presentation designed to make the complexities of so-called Obamacare easier to understand.The presentation was aimed toward healthcare providers and employers but some folks who don??t have insurance showed up as well.The Foundation says, considering the politics, the presentation was meant to be practical.Clay Stribling, Director of the Foundation, says, "The Act is here. It??s federal law. We need citizens to understand?|we want to provide a non-political informative setting?|"Guest speakers were from the American Hospital Association and American Medical Association.
