NM authorities seek help on information about pipe bombs

Federal Authorities in New Mexico are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a case in which six pipe bombs were left in Roswell and Clovis during a three-month period between February 13, 2013 and May 14, 2013.

Authorities say all the pipe bomb devices were similar, except for one. The unique device in Roswell was a homemade hand grenade type device. All the devices were recovered in outdoor areas in an intact unexploded state. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-888-283-2662.
