LAS VEGAS, N.M. (AP) - A Las Vegas man is facing his sixth drunken driving charge after police say he nearly hit an officer.

According to State Law enforcement authorities say 69-year-old Daniel Holguin was arrested last week on a felony DUI charge following a traffic stop.

According to authorities, a state police officer was talking to a motorist on an unrelated traffic stop when Holguin was seen speeding and nearly struck the officer's cruiser. The officer said Holguin was driving with a flat tire and traveling on only a rim.

After getting Holguin to stop, the officer said he blew a .13 and a .14 on a blood-alcohol test. The legal limit in New Mexico is 08.

Holguin was arrested with driving under the influence, sixth offense, a third-degree felony.

It was not known if he had an attorney.
