Man injured in drive by shooting

One man was injured Thursday night after being shot in the arm by an unknown shooter.

The Amarillo Police Department said officers responded to the reported shooting in the 2700 block of Magnolia at approximately 10:00 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived they encountered a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his right arm.

According to the man, he was standing on a porch when a vehicle drove by and someone fired a shot. APD said the man could not provide a description of the suspect vehicle. The man was later transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

APD said officers did find any evidence from the incident in the street and that no arrests have made at this time.
