Man dies after vehicle accident in Cimarron County, Oklahoma
CIMARRON COUNTY, Oklahoma —
On May 9, a man was killed after vehicle accident in Cimarron County.
According to authorities, 1998 International Harvester Semi driven by 23-year-old Fabian Lee Flores failed to properly stop at a stop sign located at the intersection of State Highway 171 and struck a 2004 Dodge Stratus driven by 27-year-old Alejandro Espino.
Flores was transported by Keyes EMS to the Cimarron County Hospital in Boise City, Oklahoma where he was treated and released.
Espino was flown by Apollo to the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo with a massive head an internal injury where he later died from injuries.
Passengers of Espino were 22- year-old Miguel Antonio Mendoza-Ramirez and 26-year-old Jorge Alejandro Rodriguez-Mendoza. Both were sent to Cimarron County Hospital and released.
The third passenger, 50-year-old Ismael Villa Ramirez was flown to University Medical Center in Lubbock with leg, hip, and trunk internal injuries.
