The Amarillo Police Department is looking for the armed robbery suspect they say used a knife to take money from a Toot N' Totum.
Police officers were called to the Toot N' Totum store at 4041 South Washington Saturday night around 11:45 p.m. The employee on duty told police she was in front of the counter mopping the floor when the suspect ran in holding a knife. She said she ran behind the counter to get away from him. He pointed the knife at her and placed a bag on the counter and demanded she put money and cigarettes in the bag. She did and that's when the suspect picked up the bag and ran south on foot from the store. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white male with blonde hair. He was wearing a paint ball mask and a black jacket. If you have any information that would help police in their investigation of this case, you're asked to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
