Man arrested after break in, assault


hursday night Amarillo Police Department Officer responded to an aggravated assault call in the 2900 block of south Nelson.

According to police, a witness told police that she was home watching TV with a male friend when her ex-boyfriend came into the house. The woman told police that her bedroom door was unlocked when her ex-boyfriend came into the house, kicked the bedroom door and started cussing at her and her friend. It was then that the ex-boyfriend began assaulting her friend and even threatened to stab him. The friend did receive several cuts to his head and arms during the altercation and the ex-boyfriend left before police arrived.

Police later located 26-year-old Isaac Andrew Frausto near the area. Frausto was arrested and booked into the Randall County Jail for burglary of a habitation and intent to commit a felony.

According to police the male companion was transported to a local hospital and treated for his non life-threatening injuries.
