All the fun that comes with Halloween can come to a halt if someone gets hurt. So what are some tips to stay safe this Halloween?
For children twelve and under, adults should be present at all times. The best advice i would give is plan, strategize your route. Flashlights help the children see and be seen.
Reflective tape and glow sticks also help drivers see trick-or-treaters, but if you decide to take a drive tonight please be extra careful. A recent report found that m ore than twice as many child pedestrians are hit and killed on Halloween than on any other day of the year.
Parents, teach kids to cross at crosswalks, not in between cars and always look both ways before crossing.
