Job Fair benefit AC students

Amarillo College brought students and prospective employers together.

At the Job Fair Friday 55 employers were represented.

Everything from technology firms to healthcare companies talked to students looking for employment opportunities.

There were also representative from higher education and certificates, such as trucking.

Local law enforcement was also represented.

Organizers say more than 300 students and others showed up.

Renee Burnam of Amarillo College says, "We have such an opportunity for our community, students and alumni to get connected with the workforce."
