      Ice cream shop robbed at gunpoint

      M onday night at 10:08 p.m. Amarillo Police Officers responded to Cold Stone Creamery in the 2300 block of south Georgia on a robbery report.Two female employees were working at the time of the robbery.

      According to the employees a man entered the store, locking the front door and turning off the lights as he entered approached the counter. The man then pointed a silver colored handgun at the employees and told them to give him money. The man threw a cloth bag on the floor and one of the employees placed the money inside. He then left the business through the back door.

      Witnesses describe the man as a white male, 30 to 40 years of age. He was wearing a khaki colored jump suit, a hood and a black mask over his face.

      APD said there were no injuries and that there have been no arrests at this time.
