Texas Gov Rick Perry said he will fight charges accusing him of abusing his power. Saturday, from Austin, he said the allegations are "politically motivated."
Friday a grand jury indicted him on two corruption charges.
Reports confirm Perry can continue to serve as governor of Texas while under indictment. Perry will have to be booked, fingerprinted, and have his mug shot taken at the Travis County Jail in Austin. If convicted of both charges, Perry could face more than 100 years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines.
