      Getting your child's vaccines early

If you haven't gotten your child's vaccine shots for the upcoming school year, you might want to do it before August.

One local pharmacist says it's better to get your child's vaccine shots right now instead of waiting. Right now there is plenty of vaccine to go around as its not much in demand yet.

It's important to get those vaccinations before the first day of school when it's busy, and some places may not have what you're looking for.

"Certain medications like chicken pox all of a sudden everyone's out and the kids can't get the shot, the school will let them in til it's available but then expect it to be done by a reasonable time," said pharmacist, Don Storseth.

Storseth also says you can go to your local doctor, or pharmacy to get the vaccines needed for your child.

The city will be hosting some vaccination clinics below is a schedule for those clinics. It will cost $5 for the first shot, and $10 for two or more.
