Gas prices for the summer are going down.

he official start of the summer driving season is coming and the price of gas may slide further down scale.

AAA says the average for the summer may drop. Just in time for next week's start to the busy holiday travel season, motorists across the country are finally feeling some relief at the pump. Today's national average price for regular unleaded gasoline is $3.65 per gallon.

This is two cents less expensive than one week ago but it remains more than one month ago (two cents) and the same date last year (eight cents).
