Fri, 03 Jul 2009 15:11:41 GMT — According to Triple-A the average price for gas in Texas fell by 4 cents this past week dropping from $2.53 to $2.49 a gallon. The national average also dropped four cents from $2.66 to $2.62 a gallon. Amarillo is actually on the low end of the spectrum this week. We're down seven cents this week to $2.44 a gallon, which is the second lowest price in the state, according to the eleventh cities surveyed by Triple-A
