Fritch seniors show their patriotism

The senior citizens of Fritch didnâ??t appreciate the fact that on holidays they couldnâ??t find anyone flying a flag.

So they created a committee that would take care of the problem.

Now they get up early in the morning on holidays and paint the town red, white and blue.

Right now they have 56 flags but would like to plant more.

Kee Ruland says, "We are very patriotic and we think everyone should be that way."

The President of the Senior Citizens Center, Hazel Winkle says, "Iâ??m really hoping this will get to a few more businesses so when people drive through Fritch theyâ??ll get a sense of how we feel."
