This Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 25-26, at Amarillo's United and Amigos stores, will offer guests free health screenings, in partnership with the West Texas A&M University nursing program.
Each free screening will include basics such as measuring height, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar and body mass index (BMI). The nursing students also will discuss educational topics with guests, including type 2 diabetes, heart health, strokes and more.
For Tuesday, Feb. 25 the health screenings will be at the Amigos, 3300 I-40 East from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
For Wednesday, Feb. 26 the health screenings will be at United Supermarkets, 5807 SW. 45th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
