Fire destroys Potter County home in early morning hours
AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) —
Update: The Potter Count Fire Department was able to get the fire under control and extinguished.
PCFD said four people were in the home at the time of the fire and made it out safely.
Firefighters also saved four pets, however 2 dogs and a cat did not make it out of the fire.
Authorities are still working to determine what caused the fire.
At 4:00 a.m. firefighters are working on a fully engulfed double wide trailer home, located 9300 block of Arlie in North Amarillo.
Residents are out and no injuries have been reported.
At this time it is unknown what caused the fire.
Streets Arlie and Arkansas are blocked off at the intersection.
The Potter County Fire Department, Potter County Sheriff Office, and Amarillo Medical Services are on scene.
