Sun, 12 May 2013 22:58:08 GMT — Local families spent their Motherâ??s Day out taking special care of all of the special women in their lives. BL Bistro was one of the many restaurants packed with families. â??Motherâ??s days are busy. Itâ??s one of our busiest days of the year,â?? said BL Bistro manager, Ethan Douglass. â??People get together, bring their families out.â?? Jo Mann and Marcy McKay were just some of the women out celebrating the day. After a day at church, they managed to make their way to BL Bistro for lunch to enjoy the day. â??It was fabulous,â?? said McKay. â??Weâ??ve had a great day.â?? Restaurants werenâ??t the only places mothers ended up spending their day. Thompson Memorial Park had plenty of families out just enjoying the day. Vanessa Hernandez spent the day with her mom at the park. Hernandez said she gave her mom a necklace and earrings for Motherâ??s Day and planned on spending time with her at a barbeque.
