Preliminary autopsy results in the Sunday morning death of an 84-year-old Tulia woman indicates she was killed by blunt force trauma.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the death has been ruled a homicide.
84-year-old Imogene Wilmoth Harris was found deceased in a Tulia residence Sunday morning by a family member. Her disabled daughter was in the residence at the time of the homicide and was taken to a hospital where she was examined and released.
The Tulia Police Department, along with the Texas Rangers, are continuing the investigation.
