Tue, 09 Jul 2013 15:00:20 GMT — An anonymous donor has given $275,000 to The Livestock and Equine Center at Clarendon College. The money will be used to build restrooms, offices, classrooms, an announcerâ??s stand and a concession stand. The Center is located outside the city limits, and therefore outside the cityâ??s infrastructure.Theyâ??ve been using portable commodes for events, which has cost thousands. The upgrade will be a big economic boon to the city.John Green, the Athletic Director at the College says, "I believe the numbers were in excess of 200-thousand with our last rodeo. We have commitments to have it every other year. So that will be a big economic boost and we want to continue."
