AMARILLO, Texas (AP) - A prosecutor expects to present the sex assault cases against eccentric millionaire artist Stanley Marsh 3 to a grand jury on Wednesday.
Lubbock County District Attorney Matt Powell said Friday he plans to take six counts of sexual assault and five counts of sexual performance by a child before a Potter County panel.
Powell was appointed special prosecutor after the DA for Potter County recused himself.
Seventy-five-year-old Marsh is probably best known as the sponsor of Cadillac Ranch, which consists of 10 Cadillacs planted nose down along Interstate 40 near Amarillo.
In February attorneys did not disclose terms of a settlement in civil lawsuits accusing Marsh of molesting 10 teens. The suits alleged Marsh gave the teens cash, alcohol, drugs and cars to perform sex acts with him.
