Officials in Curry County are investigating a collision that killed a 26-year-old man where the evidence suggests the cause was an intentional impact from another vehicle.
According to the Curry County Sheriff's Department, the collision happened on US 60/84 near mile marker 385 at about 10:40 Tuesday night. A 1995 Ford Explorer had traveled off the north side of the road and rolled multiple times, police said.
26-year-old Brandon Vann was ejected from the SUV. He died at the scene.
Four other occupants were transported to Plains Regional Medical Center.
Police said evidence and statements from the passengers indicate the vehicle was forced off the road due to an "intentional impact from a following vehicle."
The Major Crimes Unit was activated along with the Clovis Police Department Major Crash Team.
No arrests have been made but a suspect has been identified, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
