Cleanup efforts are underway today at the Civic Center after a flood last night.
Civic Center staff responded around 9 last night to what officials said was a ruptured water main.
Areas affected by the standing water included the coliseum, the orchestra pit, along with dressing rooms, storage rooms, coaches' offices and facilities for both the Amarillo Bulls and the Amarillo Venom teams.
Stephanie Tucker, GM of the Amarillo Venom, said the team was evacuated during a practice for Saturday's match. Luckily, she said, the team isn't playing any more home games this season, and practices can be held outside.
More details will be released as crews finish repairs and staff is let in the building to assess the damage.
