CNN -- A
n Oklahoma man who lost his cell phone last fall now has it back in his hands - after the phone made it to the other side of the world.
Kevin Whitney flips through pictures he thought he'd lost forever - his daughter's wedding, summer vacations, and other family moments.
He was working in a grain elevator, the phone fell out of his pocket, into the grain pit, and up the elevator.
From Chickasha, Okla., it was driven by truck to another grain facility in Inola, Okla., then along the Arkansas River, sailed down the Mississippi River by barge to Convent, La.
From there, the iPhone made its way to Kashima, Japan, by ship.
Two days ago, however, Whitney got a phone call from a man in a grain mill in Japan. He mailed it back to him.
Maybe it really is a small world.
