APD seizes 210 grams of marijuana

Amarillo Police Department officers on alcohol related driving violations patrol were in a parking lot at a bar in the 4400 block of South Georgia.
According to an APD news release, a witness pointed out a white Chevrolet pickup that was stopped at a light and told officers that the occupants had been involved in an earlier disturbance and were armed. Officers stopped the vehicle, received consent to search and found a partial "brick" marijuana that weighed approximately 210 grams and a set of scales.
There were two occupants in the vehicle and the time of the stop. One, the driver, Andrew Taylor Currier, 19, was arrested and transported to the Randall County Jail for possession of marijuana. 19-year-old Efrain Cesar Gonzalez was booked on two outstanding traffic warrants and for minor consuming alcohol.
